Would You Rather: Travel Edition v.2!

17.4.17

Cliff diver at Rick's Cafe, Jamaica 2010.

Back with another tag post! This is actually the fifth instalment in Sea Salt Secret's WYR Tag series, but my second hence the title. Check out my first post if you've not read it!

DISCLAIMER: I don't want tags to become too regular but they're handy when you're struggling for ideas 🙈

Would you rather…?

Die saving 10,000 strangers from death, knowing no one would ever know it was you or live knowing everyone would know you decided not to save 10,000 people’s lives?

Pretty deep question to start off with! I couldn't live with the guilt so I'd go for saving 10,000 strangers. Whether I got the recognition or not wouldn't matter because I'd be dead so I wouldn't know anyway.

Eat live octopus (Sannakji) in Korea OR Eat boiled-alive baby duck (Balut) in the Philippines?

ERM, the thought of both turns my stomach but as I have to choose, I'd go with Squidward. Eight legs strangely sounds easier to eat than beaks and feathers...I think.

Lose all of your money OR all of the pictures you have ever taken?

You can't put a price on photos and I'd be so distraught if I lost ALL the photos I've EVER taken, including all the old film I've got. Money can be earned back.

Be deep sea diving and your oxygen tank runs out OR be bungee jumping and have your cord snap?

Snapped cord because it's quicker, just get it over and done with! As I said before, deep open water makes me uneasy and I'd panic.

Be a part of a real Jurassic Park scenario OR be part of a real Day After Tomorrow scenario?

As someone who has quite a dislike of cold weather, I'll go for Jurassic Park. Living amongst dinosaurs would be quite an experience.

Live in the Avatar universe OR the Pokémon universe?

*sings* 🎶Pokémon! (Gotta catch 'em all) It's you and me, I know it's my destiny. Pokémon! Oh, you're my best friend, in a world we must defend 🎶 ... OK I'll stop but you get the point. Best theme song ever.

Experience an epic waterslide OR an epic zip line?

I'd love to do both, but I'm edging more towards the zip line. Zip lining across a rainforest/mountains or anywhere scenic is definitely on the bucket list.

Be blessed with more time OR more money?

If I had more time, then I'd be able to earn more money. And enjoy life, of course.

Call one place home for the rest of your life OR move somewhere new every year?

Second choice 100%. One of my life goals is to travel and explore different cultures, so a new address every year would be perfect for that. Not being able to settle somewhere would be quite draining; it could be a wrong move and I could have a horrible year, but I'd take that risk over having the same address forever.

Speaking of travel, I'm off to celebrate my birthday in Barcelona!
